J
janne Hartikainen of Finland has won his second consecutive crown at the 105K IFSA World Championships in China. Darren Sadler proved to be tough competition, but the reigning champion pulled through with a narrow margin of victory. Going into the final event of the competition, Hartikainen held a 2 point lead over Sadler, it would all come down to the Yoke race, and what a better way to finish this extraordinary event held before a most appreciative crowd in China.
Sadler would have to finish the Yoke race three places higher than the ever present Fin, in order to edge his way into top spot. Alas, it was not to be for the feisty Englishman as Maris Rozentals of Latvia and Amir Gharaei of Iran posted spectacular times(14.72 secs, and 17.82 secs. respectively) that made any movement on the leaderboard next to impossible for Sadler to climb.
