Hvor går grensa på hva som kan kalles metroseksuelt?
Metrosexuality:
"A heterosexual male who has a strong aesthetic sense and inordinate interest in appearance and style, similar to that of homosexual males"

Opponents of consumerism argue that many luxuries and unnecessary consumer products are social signals that allow people to identify like-minded individuals through consumption and display of similar products. Some believe that relationships with a product or brand name are substitutes for the healthy human relationships lacking in dysfunctional modern societies and along with consumerism itself are part of the general process of social control and cultural hegemony in modern society."Med andre ord kan vi utlede av dette at meteroseksuelle mennesker er irrasjonelle individer som er lett å lede og loppe for penger. "Saueflokken" som jeg liker å betegne dem som, er ikke avgrenset til meteroseksuelle menn så klart, men til alle mennesker som aksepterer et forhold mellom eierskap av ting og det å oppleve lykke, samt at spesielle merkenavn liksom skal gi mer lykke enn andre. Det er ikke for ingenting at større industrikonsern ansetter horder av psykologer for å finne ut hvordan de best skal klare å manipulere "saueflokken".
Akkurat som kvinner har gjennomgått en viss frigjøringsprosess i forhold til menn og derav etterapet en del av våre negative trekk til det fulle (røyking og grøftefyll f.eks), så ser vi også at menn nå er i ferd med å etterape kvinners irrasjonalitet (aka kjøpe seg "velvære" i form av små flasker med parfymert fett til flere tusen kroner)
